Alternate Choices
Q: Is it really important for me to select 3
alternates?
A: YES, YES, YES!! Alternates are very
important – especially in the senior year.
That is the year where we see the most
conflicts in students schedules so there is a
good chance your counselor will have to
use one or more of your alternates to
complete your schedule next year.
B. Choose Alt. Science for A&P or Adv. Animal
Using alternates
Q: How will the counselor decide which alternates to
use for which classes?
A: Your counselor will look at the blue course
selection worksheet when selecting your
alternates and use them in the order you listed
them from 1st – 3rd choice. When determining
which elective to REMOVE in case of a conflict,
your counselor will begin with the last class listed
in your original 8 choices and work up. From
there so it is VERY important you list your
electives in the order of preference!

Q: How can I request to be a student
aide next year?
A: You must fill out an application to be
considered for student aide. If you
