4,000 dollars each towards Competition and
Training this season
• This program is under the direction of
National Coaches Paul Webster, Helen
Radford, and Melissa Soligo.
Sport Canada - Carding
“A “ carded athletes
• Carding is a program of Sport Canada
• Recognizes past performance through funds to
train for future podium performances.
• Each athlete receives $1,500 per month for a
two year cycle. ( tax free funds )
• This amounts to $144,000 over the two years
for each team on the carding program.

“ D ” Carded
Individual Athletes
• The “D” Card or Developmental Card is
targeted for athletes who have excelled on the
CTRS but are not funded in the “A” card area.
-These 18 athletes (9 women and 9 men) receive
$900 per month for a one year cycle. (tax free).
