Club Background
• The Terrigal Trojans were established in 1974
and are one of the founding member clubs of
the Central Coast Rugby Union
• For the last twenty years the Trojans have
been settled at Terrigal Haven and play and
train on the Haven Oval
• Unique in the world the Haven Oval is
surrounded by water on 3 sides and sits in a
natural bowl which provides a superb spectator
environment
• Most of the International Rugby teams have
trained on the Haven Oval at one time or
another during the course of their tours
Location

Results
• The Trojans are firmly established as the
premier side on the Central Coast and have
won more 1st Grade premierships than any
other Club
• Over the last ten years Terrigal has made 5
first grade appearances and come away with
the silverware on three occasions
• A large proportion of our players have been
selected for representative duties at a senior
level and there have been three Trojans who
gone onto play for Australia
• In the 2005 season our junior teams were
represented in 6 of the 7 age group grand
finals ensuring that the Trojans will continue to
be successful well into the future
Season 2006
• Our coaching staff have been finalised for the
2006 season and training has already
commenced
• First Grade will again be guided by Lee
Sullivan and Mark Grills who have both had
very successful playing careers and extensive
coaching experience at a representative level
• Mark and Lee are looking to provide a
professional environment for their players both
on and off the paddock whilst making sure they
are enjoying their rugby at the same time
• This season the Trojans will again field the
maximum 4 teams in the senior CCRU
competition, U20’s, 3rd grade, 2nd grade and
1st grade.
• 2006 will also see the completion of
construction of our new clubhouse which when
we opened in April will provide state of the art
facilities for our players and spectators
