On your U: drive

Main Campus, Victor, or on the web at
files.flcc.edu
Faculty office computers have a D: drive for extra
storage on your local computer.
– D: is NOT secure. Anyone who logs on to your
computer has full access.
– Files on D: are available only in your office.
– You must back up important files yourself.
– In computer labs, files on D: are deleted when
you log off.
Where NOT to Store Your Files


In faculty offices, never store files on drive
C: or on the desktop.
Everything on C: (including the

software due to a drive failure or software
upgrade, but I will leave drive D: intact
(unless the whole disk has died).
