
For the purpose above, DIKTI has formed a

FRENCH LANGUAGE
Studying French Language is held parallel in
the first year until reach the level B2 and DELF
BLANC.
 This activity is the French Embassy’s
responsibilty and in coordination with
Indonesian universities.

PRINCIPLE OF EQUALITY
DDIP program has principles of equality and
mutual recognition.
 The courses attended in Higher Education
Providers in Indonesia are recognized by Higher
Education Partners in France.
 Vice versa, the education in the Higher
Education Partners is acknowledged by Higher
Education Providers.


MASTER DOUBLE DEGREE

(2 years) with (1+1)

M1: 1 year in Indonesia
M2: 1 year in France.

BACHELOR-MASTER–DOCTOR
3 Years in Bachelors Degree in Indonesia:

Doctoral (3 years) with (1+2) scheme :
 1 year in Indonesia + 2 years in France + 6-12

Institution and one from the Indonesian
institution.

DOCTORAL DDIP PROGRAM
FOR BATCH II
Implementation of DDIP Program in 2010, DIKTI
will provide scholarships for :
 Doctorate program DDIP, 2 selection stages:
- entrance selection to get 25 persons to study
in Indonesia in Year-1 for 12 months.
- end of first year selection to study in France in
Year-2 AND Year-3 for 24 months.
FINANCING of DOCTORAL
DDIP PROGRAM
DIKTI will provide scholarships for :
 Round trip airline ticket and the living cost as well
as allowance settlement, books, seminar.
French Embassy will pay for:
 Tuition fee, insurance, status as BGF, French
Language formation before departure.
Selection & Evaluation Procedure
Doctoral Program DDIP

During the first year, candidates’ promoter will
help the Doctoral participants find promoter in the
Higher Education Partners in France and discuss
the research topic together.

The qualification test as a basis for determining
the departure to France, must be held at the
latest in the second semester or around the
beginning of July.
Enrolment Procedure
Doctoral Program DDIP

To ensure the monitoring and evaluation process
to work, the promoters and the participants of
Doctoral Program DDIP must communicate with
each other intensively using all media, email or
teleconference.
Promoters of
Doctor DDIP

The promoters from Universities in Indonesia will
visit France on May-June in the fourth semester
during the participants’ study in the partner
Universities in France. This visitation is needed to
evaluate the result of the first research and discuss
the next step of the research detail with the France
promoter.

The visitation cost for Indonesia promoters to
France is borne entirely by DIKTI in accordance
with the applicable rules.
International Publications
Doctoral DDIP Program
 Before
the dissertation examination, the
participants of Doctoral program and their
promoters have to submit an international
publication and put in the article the name of the
institution of the Higher Education Providers in
Indonesia and the Higher Education Partners in
France.
Defence Procedure
Doctoral Program DDIP

The dissertation jury will be formed by common
agreement of the 2 partner universities, with
balanced representation of both institutions.

The jury should include the 2 dissertation
advisers, as well as scientific expert from outside
the 2 institutions.

To minimize costs, it is agreed that the defence
may carried out via a videoconference provided
the candidate is physically present on the
Indonesian campus during the defense.
Doctoral DDIP Program
 The Higher Education Providers in Indonesia
and the Higher Education Partners in France
must have the academic agreement detail which
is relevant to the Doctoral DDIP program .
Language of Dissertation
Doctoral Program DDIP
Dissertation may be written in any language
accepted for Doctoral examination at either of the
partner universities.
 In the present case, dissertations can therefore
be written in French or English.
 PhD students will, however, have to prepare an
abstract of the dissertation in the language of the
other partner university.

COORDINATION IN DDIP PROGRAM

The coordination of the implementation of the
DDIP program is conducted on a regular basis
between Higher Education Providers in
Indonesia and Higher Education Partners in
French under the protection, supervision and
management support of DIKTI and the French
Embassy.
DDIP PROGRAM FUNDING

The funding of this program is co-financed
by DIKTI and French Embassy.
DDIP SCHOLARSHIP
During study in Indonesia, DIKTI provides the
BBPS scholarships
 During study in France, DIKTI provides the LN
scholarships (Settlement Allowance, Book
Allowance, Living Cost and the retour plane
ticket) .
 The French Embassy gives scholarships in the
form of French language course during the first
year in Indonesia and Visa, Tuition Fee, Health
Insurance during study in France.

LN SCHOLARSHIP FROM DIKTI
Air ticket Indonesia-France and train ticket allerretour to the PTM in France.
 Settlement allowance amounting to € 1000,/(given only one time).
 Living allowance amounting to € 1000,-/month.
 Book allowance amounting to € 250,-/semester.
 Allowance for special program, such as:
attending a seminar at 6 million rupiah.
 Allowance for excess baggage amounting to €
250/one time, (maximum).

