Eligibility for Pre-Algebra is based on the following:
•Teacher checklist targeted at student conceptual ability
in mathematics
•Numerical grade average for the first three marking
periods
•6th Grade Math survey
•End-of-year assessment in Everyday Math 5
Students who qualify for Pre-Algebra will be notified by the first
week in August
LANGUAGE ARTS/READING EALP’s
Students with an EALP in language arts/reading are clustered together
and given opportunities for enrichment and extension both
formally and informally in their language arts class through
supplemental and/or replacement activities.
