Friend: Hold your fingers up like you are
showing two. Then raise it to the side of
the face.
People: Hold both hands in front of
shoulders, fingers spread and pointing
up. Move hands together and apart a
few times, by wrist action.
Night: Hold both hands horizontally,
palms down in front of body and several
inches apart. Slowly fold arms across
chest until right arm rests on top of
left.
Day: With arms folded as in night, raise
both hands until fingers point skyward.
Indian Sign Language continued………….
Indian: Rub back of left hand from wrist to knuckle with
right index finger.
Hunt: Hold right had right below right eye, index and
second fingers slightly parted and pointed ahead.
Eat: Move cupped right hand up and down in front of
mouth.
I: Point to self with right thumb.
White Man: Draw the right index finger across the
forehead from left to right. This sign referred to the
white man’s broad-brimmed hat.
Fight: Make motions of shadow boxing.
