Conclusions
The proposed nanotechnology could allow the
development of a new generation of integrated self
contained nanofunctional devices incorporating
multiple end-point sensing elements,optical quantum
detectors and integrated electro-optic molecular
switching capability.
The obvious challenges are reducing the cost of
materials and devices, improving reliability and
packing the devices into useful products.
