Introduction
What started as a one man business in 1996,
has grown into a professional practice
recognized in the Industry, carrying out
projects in the whole of Southern Africa and
Mauritius.
AXIOM Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd will
continue to grow by strengthening our
position in the market through innovative
solutions and performance.
The Company is an SMME, with a level 4
BBBEE status.
BUSINESS APPROACH
Our service is unique as all permanent staff members in our Company are
shareholders/profit sharers, assuring a common focus to timeously satisfy the
needs of our clients in technically, the most acceptable and cost efficient ways.
Personal knowledge and attention to all projects undertaken is guaranteed. A
pro-active approach ensures that the objective of the project is achieved.
The members of our company are fully aware of the capabilities of our
resources and can use them to the full, giving us the advantage of higher
productivity and good quality work. Our track record and growth is testament of
our commitment to service and achievement. For distant projects, we are able to
place our own staff members on site.
COMMUNICATION AND CO-ORDINATION
We believe in working closely with other team members and contractors to
ensure that information is delivered timeously and that there are no
misunderstandings. Effective communication and coordination is paramount to
the success of a project. Our best reference is our clients and we would gladly
provide a list of references if required.
COST CONTROL
Designs are constantly checked to ensure that quantities are within the limits
that are set during the preliminary design stage. The professional team is thus
enabled to make timeous decisions regarding construction cost as the project
develops.
OUR CAPACITY
Due to the commitment of our staff members, we are capable of handling
sizable projects. Typically we are able to design and detail 3 000 square
metres of floor slabs daily. This was recently achieved on the 36000 square
metre project for Posten, the New Government Offices in Namibia. One of
our Clients was confident enough in our abilities to have entrusted us with
two projects, running concurrently, the Galleria Shopping Centre in Durban,
and the Grove Shopping Centre in Pretoria. All of the above projects were
completed on time, with timeously produced design information and
documentation.
CONCLUSION
Our strength lies in the fact that all members of the company are in pursuit of a
common goal – the successful execution of all aspects of a project.
