Why is Fit better?
1. Increased cover for the surgery active individuals & families are most likely to need
or fear- such as knee arthroscopes, knee/shoulder/ankle reconstructions, fractures
of hand, finger, wrist or collarbone
2. Up to 80% Back on most Extras
3. Higher physiotherapy and dietitian benefits (up to 90%) when treatment is provided
by a Sports Titled member of the APA or SDA
4. Benefits for a Preventive Health Assessment – Helps identify injury risks and thus
helping the member to reduce the risk
5. Great General Dental Cover - up to 100% of FIT Schedule Fee
6. Benefits also include higher benefits for dental treatment common in sporting
injuries. E.g. up to $1500.00 towards Crowns (ADA no. 613)
7. Ambulance Subscription Refund - This covers emergency & non emergency
transport1
8. Foot Orthotic benefits up to $480 when supplied by a Podiatrist
9. FIT has Australia’s first behavioural based rewards program – earn points for being
active and redeem them to access professional games, money can’t buy experiences
and discounts on sporting goods.

• GMHBA will pay participating club’s or Associations $150 for every GMHBA combined
(hospital & extras) policy. Conditions Apply

the cost of their Club/Association Membership. *Conditions Apply

• We’ll also waive most of the normal 2 & 6 month waiting periods on Hospital and Extras.
