• The Society of Women Engineers was
officially formed in 1950
• SWE’s vision is “To be key to the success of
women in engineering and technology”

• SWE has over 400 professional and
collegiate sections throughout the country
which fall into one of 10 regions
• There are also Members-at-Large and
International Members
• The Society provides many benefits to
members such as professional and
collegiate webinars, conferences,
connections, and other useful resources

• We focus on three main areas:
• Professional Development
• Community Outreach
• Social Connections
