• Measurement with neck fully extended
• Difficult intubation: <3 finger breadths, or <6cm
• Mouth opening:<2 fingers associated with
difficult intubation
• Tongue size
• Dentition, dental appliances/ prosthetic caps
• Neck and jaw mobility
