MAGNET is a complete software system that includes a field
application, data processing utilities, an office application,
cloud-based data storage, and enterprise web applications and
services.
•
MAGNET provides future-proof products through low-cost
annual subscriptions that include fully-featured applications,
cloud connectivity, and software maintenance.
•
Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections are not required or necessary.
•
MAGNET provides real-time connectivity for collaboration, asset management, and secure
cloud storage.
•
MAGNET improves upon TopSURV field software and Topcon Tools office processing and
reporting software by adding approximately 100 new features and over 400 improvements.

MAGNET Enterprise
•
MAGNET Enterprise is an internet cloud computing environment for
managing company assets and project data, as well as real-time
communications with MAGNET Field and MAGNET Office users.
•
MAGNET uses HTTPS for secure 128-bit encrypted
connections. HTTPS is "Hyper Text Transfer Protocol"
with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) primarily developed
with safe and secure Internet transactions in mind.
•Supported web browsers to access and use MAGNET Enterprise include: Microsoft Internet
Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari.
•Supported languages for the initial release are English and German with more languages to
follow soon.
•A helpful and descriptive video tour of major Enterprise components is available right now on
the website’s landing page.

MAGNET Enterprise offers a typical workflow
while still standing at the project site.

At the end of the day, simply upload your
MAGNET Field job from your device to
perhaps the MAGNET Enterprise Project that
you are connected to.

If you are using a robotic total station and do
not have a SIM card within your Topcon
Tesla, you have the option of using any WiFi
coverage (free at most hotels while crews are
working out of town, for example) and
sending all project files at your convenience.

application that enables users to generate final coordinates from
MAGNET Field and Pocket 3D files, as well as Topcon and Sokkia
total station, level, and GPS raw data files.

features included in this document, is included in MAGNET Office

be made between remaining MAGNET Field and Tools products.

The process will be to:
– Create a new company in MAGNET Enterprise
– Add new Users
– Assign default or custom Roles for each new User

Identity. Each member of a MAGNET Enterprise company is uniquely
identified by their e-mail address.

Their displayed First and Last Names can be customized, but their email addresses must be unique.

to the specific Company that they are assigned to.
