NeuStar’s Relationship with CNNIC
• CNNIC is the authority responsible for the administration
of the national top-level domain name and the Chinese
domain names.
• NeuStar is the exclusive gateway to the CNNIC platform
for all Registrars that are headquartered outside of
China.
– Therefore, all Registrars (except those headquartered in China)
must use the NeuStar gateway to register .CN domain names.
• NeuStar will not act as a Registrar in the .cn domain
name space.
