NEW TERM – NEW SEASON

STARTING WITH A LEAF HUNT...
DEUT 11:13-15
13 So
if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today –
to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart
and with all your soul –14 then I will send rain on your land
in its season, both autumn and spring rains,
so that you may gather in your corn, new wine and olive oil.
PSALM 104:19
19 He
made the moon to mark the seasons,
and the sun knows when to go down.
DANIEL 2:20-22
‘Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and
power are his. 21 He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings
and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

God is with us in every season
There is something NEW in God for every one of us
If you can see a new season ahead, don’t worry –
commit it to God, for He is with you!
If you feel things are continuing as always,
God has something NEW for you... will you go for it?



New season of Impact – fresh call to community
New season of Intimacy – captivated by Christ
Prophetic word from Mike Beaumont, May 2014 :
 God says he is restoring the importance of Abingdon
(used to be a significant town in region:
religious life and political/social life).
 Also saw a three way division – like the Mercedes logo
coming down over a map of Abingdon.
Abingdon church is to be one thing but
divided into three sectors of outreach.
