Registration Packages
1 Age Groups
• As part of setting up registration fees, you will need to decide which fees apply to
which age groups. You will need to setup at least one Age Group for your fees in
the system. We advise you consider the Football West age groups when
undertaking this process. The age groups will then be used to setup the fees and
registration packages in the steps highlighted below.
2 Creating Fees
• Prior to the Club being able to register players you need to establish what your
fees are for the season. You will use the age groups setup above within this
process. This should be one fee per age group, which is inclusive of all costs
associated with the club (eg. ground hire, training equipment).
3 Creating Packages
• These fees will then be packaged together with Association, State and National
Registration fees to create a Registration Package.

1 Age Groups
• Age groups are an important component within the system. They determine which
registration packages players see when they register.
• Care should be taken when setting up age groups. We strongly recommend that
you follow the age groups setup within the Football West fee structure.

2 Creating Fees
• After you have set your age groups up in the system the next step is to set up your
club fees for the season.
• Once you have established what your Club fees are for the season you need to
set them up in MyFootballClub. This is where we setup registration fees that are
available to players and club registrars during registration.
• The process is particularly critical when players are self registering and paying
online.

3 Creating Packages
• The list of fees setup by FFA, Football West and Zone/Association is displayed.
• You need to select the fees appropriate to the registration package you are setting
up.
- You will need to select one fee from each level, FFA, State, Zone/Association.
• To add the fees, select the fees by ticking the boxes in the top section, then click
“Add selected packages”. At this point your fees will be transferred into the
“Selected” table.
• Once you are happy that you have selected all the correct fees, click “Save”.

Registration Packages Setup
Training Video
• Select ‘Fees and Packages’
• Select ‘Add New’
• Choose a fee name, alter filters to customise your fee
• Select the appropriate Age Group
• Enter your club fee
• Enable the fee for Online Self Registration
• Hit ‘Setup Package’
• Select the appropriate FFA, Member Federation and Zone fees
• Select ‘Add Selected Fee To Package’ to create your Registration Package

Tips and Considerations
• More care should be taken with the age groups when using self registration as players
will view the age groups when registering with your club. In this case we would advise
you to create less age groups, which will minimize the chances of the wrong package
being chosen.
• Use age groups that works for your club’s fee structure, however we would advise you
to create less age groups, as this is easier for your club to manage.
• Please consider whether you have players that are playing outside of their age group,
either playing up or down. Remember that they won’t be able to register outside the age
range set-up in the system.
• If you set up age groups last year, you can use these to create packages this year in
your packages.
• Age groups will restrict which packages and fees players can select when registering
but will not restrict you from allocating players to a team outside the player’s age group.
• Do not register against the fee to test that it is working prior to ensuring that fee is set
up correctly as the fee cannot be changed or deleted after this point.
• Communicate the packages, and in particular, the labels that have been setup to your
players as well as other club registrars.
• We would advise you to prepare your club fees prior to fee setup on the system.

• You can adjust the minimum and maximum ages in your age group setup.

Offering discounts for registration
Create an “Add On” fee which can be selected by the player during registration:
• Must have Classification set to “Add On”.
• Must have the “Make Available As Add On Item” box checked.
• Add a negative price to make the item a discount.

Offering a discount for multiple
registrations
Create multiple packages to allow for different
options
• Copy setup for one of your current fees, but
change the label and the price.
• Players that self register will see both fees.
• Important to communicate the message to
parents of the club.
• You can always reject a registration if
person chooses the wrong package.

Setting up Add Ons
Selling additional items (e.g. Club tracksuit, social club membership etc.)
Create an “Add On” fee which can be selected by the player during registration:
• Must have Classification set to “Add On”.
• Must have the “Make Available As Add On Item” box checked.
• Add Ons are not a mandatory purchase for the player
