The role of the SEIO

SEIO is main coordinator of the EU integration process in
Serbia (SAA negotiations, SAA implementation, accession
negotiations)

SEIO coordinates all the line ministries in the process of EU
integrations and SAA negotiations
 development of strategy and monitoring of the harmonization
process
 administrative capacity building
 analysis of economic aspects of harmonization
 SEIO prepares for adoption the acts of the Government
designed for supervising, directing and harmonizing activities of the
ministries and special organizations in relation to the EU
association and accession (


SEIO prepares the European Integration Council’s meetings
SEIO - a Secretariat for the Serbian Negotiating team and
coordinator for SAA negotiations
