Response & Commitment

As per the mutual decision, medical bills are
being reimbursed by the Western Railways

Collectors of Mumbai City, Suburban District &
Thane have been advised to collect copies of FIR
from the Police Department (ATS) and provide to
the persons requiring it.

As was decided with the WR, Railways have made
the reimbursement of medical bills.

State Govt. has already made the payment to
502 person receiving grievous injuries as on 10
Oct. 2006

Response & Commitment

State Govt. has so far made payments to 132
persons receiving minor injuries as on 10 Oct.
2006

Public Health Department directed all the
hospitals, both Government & Private, not to
collect payment from the patinets for medical
treatment.

Govt. of Maharasthra is periodically monitoring
the status of disbursement of payment to the
private hospitals and expediting the matter.

Hearing aids can be made available to the
patients when demanded
