Why is the bond election
being called?
 JNCISD is planning for future growth and long range planning for the
district. The District is following previous recommendations from two
different facility studies (1995 & 2007).
 Jim Ned CISD is renovating the two elementary schools to allow Buffalo
Gap and Lawn to keep neighborhood schools in place as stated in the
1995 TASA study.
 These renovations also allow for growth at the elementary schools by
placing the 5th grade with 6th, 7th, & 8th Middle school at the current HS.
 JNCISD is following previous recommendations made by TASB in 2007 to
convert the current HS into a middle school and build a new HS at a
different location.
 The current bond plan gives something to every student at JNCISD.
How can funds from this
bond program be used?
For the purpose of the construction,
improvement, renovation, additions and

necessary sites therefore, including
