About Credit Rating: The government’s credit rating reflects the economy’s level of risk and affects banks, companies and financial bodies in the
market. The rating creates a “ceiling” which acts as a benchmark to their bond pricing. Credit rating indicates the macro-economic status of an
economy and affects foreign investors’ decisions whether to invest in the market.
