and controls to share data and interact with other devices. With
a high level of intelligence built into each device, vTagNet™
technology allows individual devices to process data gathered
by all other networked devices and perform as a single,
multifunction system. vTagNet™ technology introduces
collaborative processing to greatly expand the functionality of
simple, basic sensors and controls.

A Personal Area Network or PAN allows
up to 255 units to join together in a
Point-to-Multipoint network and perform
as a single monitoring and control

The industry’s serial de facto standard since 1979, Modbus continues
to enable millions of automation devices to communicate.
Modbus is the common denominator when communicating with
industry RTU’s, like Fisher ROC, TotalFlow, FlowBoss, etc.
All on-line (Internet) remote access, control and monitoring services
communicate with remote RTU’s via the Modbus protocol.

and maintain them. From anywhere, at any time, users may
check operating status, spot potential problems and take

costs, vTagMate® allows service and maintenance personnel to
direct their efforts to problem “hot spots”, thereby improving
production and reducing cost.

Integrated Device Manager
Programming Utilities
The Integrated Device Manager (IDM) provides custom
programming for all vTagNet® products. The IDM’s unique flowchart format allows anyone with rudimentary programming skills
to generate simple or complex applications.
IDM applications interact with OKC’s OpSys® operating system
and provides the interface between vTagNet® product hardware
and user applications. This layered system approach eliminates
the cost and time to incorporate new hardware configurations as
new applications are identified.
