Lexile measures.

How to Find and Use Lexile Measures
Your Lexile measure is a guide to your reading level.
A book’s Lexile measure is a guide to its difficulty.
Your teacher can tell you your Lexile measure based
on your WESTEST 2 scores.
Follett will show a book’s Lexile measure which is
based on how difficult it is to read.
Your Lexile range is from 100 points
below your measure to 50 points above it.
Books in your range should be not too hard
but not too easy for you to understand.
If a book is too difficult for you to read,
look for a book with a lower Lexile measure.
If a book is too easy,
look for a book with a higher Lexile measure.
Be sure to look at the topic of the book
as you are making your choice.
You want to choose a book you will enjoy.
