CONCLUSIONS

PROLONGED ZINC SUPPLEMENTATION MAY INHIBIT THE AGE- RELATED DECLINE IN CELLULAR IMMUNITY ( AT LEAST AS RELATED TO DTH SKIN TESTS) PROLONGED ZINC SUPPLEMENTATION IN ADULTS IS REFLECTED IN INCREASED PLASMA ZINC CONCENTRATIONS
