Welcome to Lake view School of Engineering Location Sweden Jönköping Location Jönköping University Jönköping University is located in the centre of the town with city life and beautiful nature just around the corner. Campus Jönköping University Jönköping University is a young and expanding university with almost 12 000 students divided in four schools: - Jönköping International Business School - School of Education and Communication - School of Engineering - School of Health Sciences Campus Modern City-Centre Campus All four schools are concentrated at one campus, surrounding the library which is an old foundry industry building. Education Subjects in English Some 70 subjects, and 4 master programmes, are instructed in English. International exchange students study together with Swedish students. Education Bachelor of Science Programmes Civil Engineering - Building Projects/ Civil Engineering Projects - Building Projects with Architectural Technology Computer Engineering - Web development/ Programming and Computer Networking - Embedded systems Education Bachelor of Science Programmes Mechanical Engineering - Product Development with Industrial Design - Industrial Management and Production Industrial Engineering and Management - Logistics and Management Education Master of Science Programmes Information Technology and Management - Information Engineering Product Development - Product Development and Materials Engineering - Industrial Design Production Systems - Production Development and Management Semesters The Swedish academic year Autumn semester: Mid August until mid January (end of December) Spring semester: Mid January until end of May Each semester is divided into two segments. Each segment contains two subjects, each giving 7,5 credits. Full-time study gives 60 credits (60 ECTS credits) for one academic year. Activities The Student Union The Student Union strives to make the time students spend at the university both meaningful and exciting. A number of committees and groups are associated with the Student Union, where International Association and HINT works for integration between Swedish and International Students.
