We join together to enhance our community’s mental health and
support recovery for people with mental illness served in the
North Sound region, through high quality culturally competent
services.

What is NSMHA?
Pre-paid Mental Health & Inpatient Capitated Managed
Care Plan
 Public Mental Health Authority for the five counties.
 NSMHA must assure:

– Access to all medically necessary services
– Crisis services 24/7
– Quality improvements
– Contractual compliance, enforcement
– Consumer driven services
– Individualized and strength-based services
– Vision of Hope/Pathway to Recovery
– Culturally and Special Population appropriate services
