About HEPC….
 Set up in the year 1965 with 96 members
 Grown over the years to cover the entire country with a
membership of around 1500
 Head office at Chennai
 Regional Office at New Delhi
Our activities...
 Organising International trade fairs
 Consultancy and guidance services for manufacturers,
aspiring & established exporters
 Liaison with the Govt. of India on procedural and policy
matters relevant to handloom export trade
 Liaison with import promotion / commercial agencies/
Chamber of Commerce abroad for the benefit of
handloom exporters
 Organising awareness seminars / workshops across the
country
 Providing impetus to Modernisation of handloom for the
export market
Our activities...
 Bringing out trade publications such as color catalogue, Product
manual, Importers Directory, Exporters Directory etc
 Design Support (CAD Centre) to promote exports of handloom
products
 Disseminating information on design and color forecast
 Providing a panel of National & International Designers for the
member exporters
 Presentation of Export awards in recognition of outstanding export
performance to encourage member exporters
 Internet Enquiry Club

the following:
• Travel Grant
• Space Grant
• Assistances range from Rs.50000/- to Rs.1,80,000/per event per participant
• Assistances are provided by Ministry of Commerce
& Industry ( MDA/ MAI ) and Ministry of Textiles
(HES scheme ), Govt. of India
• Exporters having turnover not exceeding Rs. 15
crores in preceding year are eligible under MDA /
HES scheme
