If you leave any metal substance on the part of GPS antenna installed, GPS receiving could be worse. GPS receiving delaying time could be needed. It could take time GPS to start and receive coordinates after turn on the vehicle. It depends on circumstances such as weather. Do not keep operating if the device does not work properly . When it smells, makes strange sound or shows abnormal symptoms, do not keep operating. Turn the device off and consult to local supplier. Do not remove SD card while MP3,navigation, ONE SEG is working. (Orange LED On) LED changes Green color when sensor is operating and it will transfer to Orange color(regular mode) after 10 sec. since impact. In SD card root folder, if you copy QVGA.cfg file and, it records in QVGA (320x240) if you delete QVGA file from root folder than it records in VGA again. • Display on time, location and speed information You can check information about time, location and speed with your video information through exclusive viewer (Download from Homepage). 3 How to operate How to operate 4-2 Checking Operating and using SD Card • LED Indication Green Color &Blue Color LED ON : Continuous Recording Mode Only Blue Color On: Event Recording Mode Only Green Color: Error mode (check if you slotted SD card and you need to reboot the device) If you still have trouble, contact local supplier. • Viewing on the Navigation You can view video in real time on your Navigation being connected through video cable(supplied) (Connect Video out terminal of Device to video in terminal of your Navigation) * The navigation needs to support MP4 • Viewing on PC Take out SD Card form card slot when the power is off and connecting it to your PC using Card reader(Optional), then you can see recorded videos on your PC. 3 How to operate How to operate • Folder and file name REC folder-> You will see Full time recording and event recording file lists in recorded time order. 1) Full time recording file (Normal file) File name: N/ 2010/ 02 /06 /06 /20 /20 Recording mode/year/month/day/hour/min./sec. Ex) E_2010_02_06—06_20_20.mp4 3 How to operate How to operate 4-3 Continuous Recording (Permanent Recording) • We recommend you get a advice of car service center to connect continual vehicle power if you want to use this device as a parking monitor. • In case you don’t use your car for 24 hours after connecting continual power, your car battery might be gone. Please check your car battery. • 4G SD Card being included is not enough to memorize your long recording. We recommend you purchase extra memory(8G or 16G) and use. In case of occurring Event, it memorize voice and sounds. You can hear the real voice and sounds of the spot through viewer program. 3 How to operate How to operate 4-5 Video Event Data Recorder Function • When there is any impact occurred from the car, this device automatically detects it and saves movies before/after the event in real time. It saves also time and 3 axis acceleration data, speed information of the car, etc. at the same time. Impact is generated from car accident, sudden brake, sudden curve, uneven road surface and main body striking conditions, of which impact level can be adjusted. If the impact level is small, tiny brake operation is detected and movies are frequently recorded, while if the impact level is large, record is not frequently conducted but it is required to note that minor contact accident may not saved. • Movie Quality Change decides quality of movies to be recorded and can be selected to high(640X480)/ normal(320X240) movie qualities. And if you change 20 flames(out of factory) to 10 or 15 flames, and you can adjust the recording time to 10 ~ 24 hours. * This device has auto over, write function in two way (Continual Recording and Event Recording) If data is fully filed into the SD Card, old data is automatically erased and recent data is saved. If you have any important data, please save it into the PC separately. (Continual Recording 70%, Event Recording 30%) 4 How to install How to install *This device is designed as DIY (do it yourself) product for simple and convenient installation. Installation procedure: 1. Slot the bracket into Bracket hole on the device and firmly fix it. 2. Check and select the proper place where does not disturb driving on the front window and attach the device with the suction cup. 3. In case of connecting to cigar jack power source – hide cables well under the corners and insert power jack to power source. In case of connecting to continuous power source – connect to fuse box for battery power source. When it is connected after 24hours later, power is off automatically. 4. After you press power button, when Orange LED is on, it indicates proper operation (full time recording) 5. After operates this device, press power button, when you see LED is off, it indicates power-off. 6. As 75A Battery is built in this device, after power off the vehicle, it still operates for sometimes before it is off 7. When you connect to continuous power, recording time duration is depending on SD card size. Example) SD card 4GB: 400min. 8. Adjusting the angle 5 How to playback on PC How to playback on PC • Firmware update You can access http://www.ubtechno.co.kr/board/bbs/tb.php/bo04/49 and download firmware. • Viewer Program (PlayerAppWinGUI_091015_Securoad_GDI.zip ) Insert your SD Card into the card reader (not including) and Insert it into your PC USB Terminal. After downloading program and unzipping, You can see the icon of program.
