• May 14, 2001 – Declaration of Cooperation signed

• July 2001 – BEAC becomes an organizational
member of the National Organization for
Competency Assurance

• November 19, 2003 – First CPEA in Management
System granted (Karl Kimball)
• January 23, 2004 – BEAC signs agreement with the
American Chemistry Council (ACC) for Responsible
Care® certification using the BEAC Management
System exam
• February 12, 2004 – BEAC certification is accredited
by the Council of Engineering and Scientific
Specialty Boards

• July 26, 2004 – First CPEA in Responsible Care®
granted (Don Lisman)
• April 22, 2005 – BEAC signs agreement with the
ACC and RABQSA to provide a new Responsible
Care® examination
• October 27, 2005 – BEAC approves Midland
Engineering Ltd., as the first RCMS Audit Service
