Comprehension: Repetition Repetition is saying or doing something over and over, it is a literary device that is often used in poetry and sometimes prose. Repetition of words can emphasize certain feelings. Authors may use repetition to highlight their purpose or main idea. Text Feature: Electronic Encyclopedia Electronic encyclopedias include articles, diagrams, and photographs on many topics. They contain information and facts about a particular subject. Encyclopedia's also contain toolbars at the top of the screen. These allow you to get more specific information.
