The status of orders can be viewed using six different search methods :
Order Bank: orders that are being processed but not yet scheduled for production
Orders in Process: orders currently in production
Dealer Inventory: vehicles currently in the dealership’s inventory (stock or demo)
All Categories: shows single view of all three categories listed above
View Single Order with Option Content: enter GM assigned order #, click view and user will see status of that
particular order and a list of option codes associated with that order
Custom Reports: used to generate custom reports by choosing specific search criteria. Highlight the criteria
from ‘available fields’ on the left and use the right arrow to move to ‘selected fields’ and
include the information in the desired report. To delete a selection and move it back, use the
left arrow. To select the order, the criteria will appear on the report - use the up and down
arrows in the ‘selected fields’ section (first 5 will sort). Choose a source for the report (Order
Bank, Orders in Process, Dealer Inventory or All Categories). Click “View”.
Download to Excel
Users have the ability to download their truck order information to excel for each of the five Order Status
categories (Order Bank, Orders in Process, Dealer Inventory, All Categories and Custom Reports). If you
want to download the data you are viewing, simply click on the “Download to Excel” button that is
available on every page. A dialog box will appear that will give you three options :
Open:
this immediately opens the Excel file on your desktop - - it does not save the file anywhere - - the user
must do that after it’s open
Save: prompts the user to save the file to a directory or a disk
Cancel: cancels the request to open the file
