【Background】
Acrylic acid, an important base chemical feedstock, is widely applied in acrylic esters,
super absorbent resin, textile, building materials, coatings, daily chemical, etc. In line
with increasing demand, China acrylic acid industry is booming in recent years with fast
capacity expansion. Therefore, China acrylic acid industry structure is bound to change
largely.
Amid global economic downturn, can consecutively increasing capacity of acrylic
acid and esters be smoothly consumed by downstream markets? How can enterprises
win in the competitive environment? Can downstream consumption increases catch up
with upstream capacity development? The above problems have attracted close

2013 Acrylic Acid & Derivatives Summit, hosted by China Acrylic Acid & Esters
