Purpose
Promote the recognition of individual members and member groups
(i.e.chapters, specialty assemblies and state councils) who have demonstrated
excellence in service to perioperative nursing.
Charges (tasks) for 2014
1. Continue to refine and evaluate the online application process and scoring
mechanism and provide recommendation for change
2. Continue to utilize subject matter experts to judge awards
3. Select awards recipients for the individual categories (*Excellence Award)
4. Explore new ways of increasing the number of applicants in each of the
different award categories
