Needs Analysis

The needs assessment involves :  Understanding and taking ownership of the 2005/2006 immersion team’s formal needs assessment.

 Revising, updating, and extending the goals to match new ideas and constraints.

Task Analysis

This Year  Learning Outcomes   JTA Outcomes  Ex: Worksheet JTAs In the worksheet JTAs, section foremen will accurately add, delete, or edit steps to customize the JTA to mine operations. Scenario Outcomes  Ex: Ventilation Scenario Analyze ventilation maps and schematics to determine airflow Diagnose ventilation problems and errors given a set of air quantity and quality measurements

 Surveying the audience  Online survey miners can complete after undergoing some or parts of training  Surveying Hoop Magic team’s use of the project pre-release as a test for navigability and usability.

 Design document and Training System sent to MSHA officials at end of Semester (12/15)

Recommendations

   Client Presentation Dec. 8 Distribute Evaluation Tools Use client feedback to improve current modules and shape development of future modules.
