•And you calculate its volume to be 5
ml,
•Then what is its density?

 Each group will be given a different
volume of water to work with
(Either 10 mL, 20 mL, 30 mL)
 Then each group will use the
graduated cylinder to correctly
obtain & measure their water
 Then each group will calculate the
density of their sample of water
using the “balance”
In our lab today …
 Each individual must answer the
questions on the lab, filling in all
the blanks
 This lab will be due on Tuesday!
 So if you have any questions about
the “write-up” over the weekend,
be sure to ask on Monday!
