The ES-5800G supports jumbo frame, which allows you to extend the Ethernet frame size to a maximum of 9600

SUPPORTS AUTO-MDI/MDI-X
The ES-5800G easy “plug and play” installation comes with auto-MDI/MDI-X support. Use either a straightthrough or cross-over Ethernet cable and connect 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps devices into ES-5800G, and the switch
will automatically detect suitable cable and device speeds for peak performance.
