WHAT IS A TEAM?
The entire sixth grade will be divided into balanced groups of
students.
Students from all incoming
elementary schools will be
mixed together to form at least
two teams.
All teams will be balanced.

WHAT IS A TEAM?
There will be a common group of
teachers assigned to each team.
This consists of 4 teachers. These
teachers will have time to
collaborate and plan together as a
team.
There is a Team Leader assigned
to coordinate each team.
The Team Leader helps to
facilitate the needs of the student
as well as the concerns of the
parents.
A TYPICAL DAY AT SELLS
There are 8 periods in the day.
4 Academic Periods
Math 50 minutes
Science 50 minutes
Social Studies 50 minutes
Language Arts Block 100 minutes

WALK-THROUGH PARENT WELCOME
THURSDAY AUGUST 20, 2015
Sells will be open from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday August
20 th for the parent/student walk through.
We will have two welcome meetings if you wish to attend. The
first meeting will be at 1:00 p.m. The second meeting will be
at 7:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be the same presentation.
The purpose of this meeting is to welcome you to Sells and
give you any last minute information and reminders about the
first day of school.
