IB MISSION STATEMENT
 The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring,
knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and
more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
 To this end the organization works with schools, governments and
international organizations to develop challenging programmes of
international education and rigorous assessment.
 These programmes encourage students across the world to become
active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other
people, with their differences, can also be right.

Monday Morning Walking Group – 8:30 in the school lobby: every Monday morning
meet us up in the school lobby for a sporty & chatty walk around Södermalm
regardless of the weather! No need to sign up, just turn up!
PTA Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 17th, September at 8:30, location tbc: Join
us for the ISSR PTA first meeting of the year. If you want to take on an active role in
the ISSR PTA, this is the place to be. We will be electing the new board and planning
out the activities for the year to come. Coffee, tea and sweets will be served! Looking
forward to seeing many of you!
The Out & About season has started! Friday, 12th, September: visit of Gamla Stan &
Riddarholmen and Friday, 26th, September: visit of Bergius Botanical Gardens. To join
