Citizenship is an Obligation:
◦ 1 of 5 principles set by our founders.

Visibility Within the Community:
◦ The greater community OUTSIDE of the school
campus can see Iota in a positive light.

Networking Opportunities:
◦ There is always a possibility of meeting those who
can help further our careers.
◦ It gives us a chance to build relationships with other
like-minded individuals.

Each enrolled undergraduate brother is
obligated to complete 10 community service
hours per semester.
Each undergraduate chapter must complete a
total of 10 community service hours for
every enrolled brother each semester.
◦ Ex: If Chapter A has 5 brothers, the chapter must
complete (50hrs) each semester.

Goals officially in effect February 1st, 2011.

Community service hours will be
documented through use of the “ACR
Community Service Log Sheet”
The ACR Community Service Log Sheet
will be available to download from the
Atlantic Coast Regional website:
www.ACRiotas.iotaphitheta.org

Step 1: Print out and bring the ACR Community
Service Log Sheet to every Community Service
event.
Step 2: Brothers who attend the event will sign
their names and indicate the amount of hours
served.
Step 3: A brother in the chapter will input the data
into a digital version of the ACR Community Service
Log Sheet (Excel) and email it as an attachment to:
[email protected]. The hours will be
reviewed and entered into the national webpage.

Hours performed during the fall semester must
be emailed to [email protected]
by December 15th, 2011.
Hours performed during the spring semester
must be emailed to
[email protected] 2 weeks before
the start date of the spring regional meeting.
Your state director will notify undergraduate
chapter polari of the spring due date.

Failing to submit The documentation on
time will result in a $100.00 fine
assessed to the chapter by the regional
office.
Chapters will receive an email
confirmation (receipt) that hours have
been entered into the national database
within 10 business days of submission to
[email protected].
