Problems with Using ESS

    Unable to assist with clarifying error messages in Edison due to inability to actually see them New and current employees saving and not submitting enrollment information in Edison Unfamiliar with new enrollment process and selecting content Unfamiliar with how to log on to Edison

Solution

    Walked through each step of the process with a new hire (Clerks in the regions) Ask for confirmation page when completing insurance enrollment Reminders on Calendars for projected date insurance information should be visible in Edison Created a Help sheet to assist New Hire

Current Process for New Hires

    Asked to have email and Edison log-in info before scheduling meeting Walk through process of obtaining insurance information, understanding enrollment procedures, and making sure employee can successfully log-in to Edison. *Paper forms only used by clerks/HR staff if an issue with ESS arises. Instruct employees to submit confirmation page with the Basic Life Beneficiary Form.
