All students may continue be involved in Muncie Central athletics, art, band, choir, drama, Project Lead the Way and courses at MACC as well as other activities. YOU ARE STILL A MUNCIE CENTRAL STUDENT. Muncie Central Early College [email protected] Let’s meet our Ivy Tech Community College partners How will this work for me? The program builds gradually Yearlong courses have 150 hours of direct instruction vs. 48 on campus; 75 hours vs. 48 for one semester courses We have built in support for you to be successful Who will help me? Your Early College Coordinator This person will teach your Freshman Seminar course and will be your go-to person for all college questions Math and English Coaches These teachers have many resources to help you be college ready in reading, writing, and math. Tutoring and Support What are my options? Option #1 Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts 60+ college credit hours Student graduates with an Associate of Arts degree Courses are common to many degree programs so students could start as a junior depending on degree path What are my options? Option #2 Transfer General Education Certificate 30 college credit hours, One year of college completed Transfers to all state IN colleges What are my options? Option #3 Technical Certificate 31 college credit hours Student graduates with a college Technical Certificate Includes certifications to enter the workforce Courses taken at MACC What will my Freshman schedule look like? This is your opportunity to take a college course on campus. It will be held at the Ivy Tech Fisher building downtown. Summer Experience Speech (COMM 101) What will my Senior schedule look like?
