Some conclusions
• Biomass combustion aerosols contribute much mass
concentration in Helsinki
• High time-resolution chemistry measurements needed
for understanding of aerosol chemistry
• Urban aerosol concentration is a sum of various
factors: emissions, secondary formation,
transformation, mixing in the atmosphere (+ longrange transport)
