Repair Shop is a
135 amp wire feed
Metal Inert Gas
(MIG) welder.

Shielding Gas
 A 75% Argon 25%
Carbon Dioxide
(C25) gas is used
to protect the weld
puddle from
contaminates.
 This mix gives a
quality flat weld
that is beneficial
for collision work.

Gas Regulator
 This is the
pressurized gas
regulator.
 The optimum flow
setting is 17 cubic
feet/minute.

holes in sheet
metal for plug
welds.

 These are the basic tools that will be
used to perform the welds required for
completion of the welding and cutting
steel module.
 We will discuss there correct use in the
lab portion of the class.
