WS4 – the goals of the workshop
To name factors that can have influence on
self-employment
To show the different situations
in different countries
To list the factors that show up around
Europe

WS4 – countries that gave some
feedback:
Poland, Italy, Portugal, Malta, Spain, UK,
Latvia, Slovakia, Estonia, Austria,
Lithuania, Norway, France, Germany,
Bulgaria, Finland, Check Republic,
Denmark, Moldava
The outcomes generaly:
• Unfortunately most of the factors that were
mentioned in the WS4 sessions were pessimistic
or Discouraging…
• The spectrum of the factors differ from country to
country
• Some positive factors in one country turn to be
negative in different country conditions
WS4 – the outcome generaly:
• The best way for developing a selfemployment programme would be to take
the experience of other countries but take
under consideration your country situation
before implementing
• Most factors that influence the activity of VI
around entrepreneurship are social not
economic
Precise outcomes will be sent to participants
by EBU
The final goal:
To encourage the participants to look for
those factors in their country when thinking
of supporting VI people in self-employment.
Finding them will help overcome barriers
that stop vision impaired people from
entrepreneurship.
