Pay for Print
• All ACS Public Access labs have "Pay for Print" implemented in
them. This means, anyone who uses the ACS Public Access Labs
needs to bring their UCF Campus ID Card in order to print. The Pay
for Print uses "Purse 1", like the food/drink vendors do. You can put
funds on to your UCF Campus ID Card at any of the Campus Card
replenish stations located through out campus and near the computer
labs. If you do not have sufficient funds on your UCF Campus ID
Card, you will not be able to print your documents.
• The charges for printing are: 5 cents per page for black and white and
75 cents per page for color.
• This "Pay for Print" project was implemented due to the over waste of
printed paper that was never claimed by the person who printed it.
Also, for the high cost of printer supplies for toner and paper usage.
This project will help in recovering some of the printing costs which
will be used to provide better printers and printing services to the UCF
community.
