Thank you to our wonderful
sponsors!
When was a last time that a day at the office was accompanied by the
satisfaction of knowing that you did something to change the world?
For us at Blackbaud, that’s an average day. We’re developing the
solutions that help non-profits focus on what they do best; whether
that’s saving the environment, educating children or solving the world’s
major health concerns.
And while we are working to enable the success of over 29,000+
customer organizations, we are enabling the success of our company
and our people. We are committed to developing the careers of our
employees, in all professions, through learning and mentoring
programs. And we do it all in an environment that values teamwork,
diversity and philanthropy.
Is it possible to change the world and grow your career at the same
time?
They are currently looking to fill full-time positions.

The mission of Partners In Housing (PIH) is to provide affordable housing to
people who most need a stable place to live, while giving them support and a
chance to reach their highest level of self-sufficiency.
To clarify the PIH mission, we define our target population as people
who: (a) have experienced homelessness; (b) are actively at risk of
homelessness due to a history of multiple challenges, such as extremely low
income, minimal or no support network, chronic illness, disabilities, and
other special needs; or (c) are vulnerable due solely to extremely low
incomes even though they may have a support network and have no other
significant risk factors.
Once housed, PIH then works with the resident to develop a plan to stay
housed and connect them to resources in the community that helps to
stabilize their lives and overcome the barriers that made them homeless or
at-risk for homelessness.

At the 50th convention of the National American Woman Suffrage
Association, Carrie Chapman Catt proposed the creation of a "league of
women voters to finish and aid in the reconstruction of the nation." In
the next year, on February 14, 1920 - six months before the 19th
amendment to the Constitution was ratified - the national League of
Women Voters was formally organized. Now in our 94th year, the
members of the League of Women Voters continue to embrace the
principles and rise to the challenges created by our founders. The
League of Women Voters of Indiana, a nonpartisan political
organization, encourages informed and active participation in
government, works to increase understanding of major public policy
issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
Through our participation in the IUPUI Nonprofit expo, we hope to
encourage interns and volunteers to work with the League of Women

in local, national and international organizations. Many social workers
specialize in serving a particular population or working in a specific

The Indiana Coalition Against Sexual Assault (INCASA) believes
that sexual assault is a violent crime of power and domination that
can be perpetrated against all persons, and that the healing of
victims cannot be separated from the healing of society. INCASA is
part of that society, and it recognizes that it must continually
reassess its own attitudes and consciousness. INCASA empowers
professionals, survivors and communities to end sexual violence
and abuse in Indiana through expertise, education, advocacy and
support. INCASA views itself as an organization working toward
the elimination of sexual assault and realizes that its most important
goal must be to achieve its own non-existence as well as to change
social norms that perpetuate sexual violence and abuse.

The Postal Service currently has more than 600 vacancies in the
state of Indiana. Many of those are in the Indianapolis
area. While the positions that we have available are temporary at
this time, we promote from within. When a full-time career
opportunity is available, we look at our current temporary
workforce to fill those positions. More than 50% of our current
career employees are either eligible for retirement today or will
be eligible within the next three years. To meet this challenge,
the Postal Service is looking to fill our ranks with a wide variety
of new employees. With that level of attrition, the number of
opportunities for new employees to advance within the company
is high.

Public Allies is a division of AmeriCorps, focusing on capacitybuilding, leadership development, and community engagement. Our
program is ten months long, stretching from September through June.

side by side on capacity-building projects. This allows the Ally to learn
from the organization they are placed with and from the community
they are working in. Once the Ally graduates successfully from the
program, they are awarded a higher education grant. It is a leadership
development program, and our participants possess the qualities of
future leaders, who can make substantial impact in their community.
What we are hoping to gain from the Expo is the opportunity to provide
information about our great program to potential applicants, other
nonprofits, and interested individuals. The opportunity is a great one

Pro(ACT) was founded with this vision in mind. We exist to
teach and to equip students with the cognitive and social tools
needed to internalize the values of integrity, humility, and
confidence. Through consistent service work coupled with active
reflection methods, we want to see our students become
emerging leaders who pride themselves in service to others.
Through service- learning, we believe that students will grow to
have confidence in themselves and others around them, because
they will be an active part of their environment contributing to
the well-being of society. The exposure to service we give
students in our program is valuable for we consistently see
students’ self-esteem raise to level that demonstrates a passion to
serve others which is directly affecting how students learn, grow,
and succeed.

Innovators for Community Alliance (ICA), is a nonprofit organization
created with the purpose in mind to promote awareness and
empowering through education, as an innovative tool and
work with communities that struggle to find lasting solutions in
different issues that communities are facing in today’s society. Our
purpose and believe is that the key to many issues that keep
individuals in the communities at a disadvantage is what has kept them
from being able to provide long term solutions to many issues that are
affecting our generation and will affect future generations. At ICA we
strongly believe that the solution to current issues is in OURS HANDS
including social, educational, and environmental issues. At ICA we
work together to empower individuals to take part to build concrete
solutions through education and be able to provide innovative solutions
for future problems.
