Greater Than our Hearts
You who are greater than our hearts,
Come make your faithful mercies known,
The mind of Christ to us impart
Your constant mind in us be shown
O let us by your cross abide,
You, only you, resolved to know
The Lamb for sinners crucified,
A world to save from endless woe
You who are greater than our hearts,
Come make your faithful mercies known,
The mind of Christ to us impart
Your constant mind in us be shown
Take us into your people's rest,
And we from our own works shall cease
With your meek Spirit on our breath,
And keep our minds in perfect peace
You who are greater than our hearts,
Come make your faithful mercies known,
The mind of Christ to us impart
Your constant mind in us be shown
By this we shall know that we are of the truth and
reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart
condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he
knows everything.(1 John 3:19-20 ESV)
and whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we
keep his commandments and do what pleases him. And
this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of
his Son Jesus Christ and love one another (1 John 3:2223 ESV)
Jesus, for this we calmly wait,
O let our eyes behold you near
Hurry to make our heaven complete,
Appear, our glorious God, appear
You who are greater than our hearts,
Come make your faithful mercies known,
The mind of Christ to us impart
Your constant mind in us be shown

Glorious Day
One day when Heaven was filled with His praises
One day when sin was as black as could be
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin
Dwelt among men, my example is He
Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day
One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree
suffering anguish, despised and rejected
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He
One day the grave could conceal Him no longer
One day the stone rolled away from the door
Then He arose, over death He had conquered
Now He’s ascended, my Lord evermore
Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day
One day the trumpet will sound for His coming
One day the skies with His glories will shine
Wonderful day, my Beloved One’s, bringing
Glorious Savior, Jesus, is mine
Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day
O glorious day!
O glorious day!
Psalm 130
From the depths of woe I raise to Thee
a voice of lamentation.
Lord, turn a gracious ear to me
and hear my supplication.
If Thou iniquities dost mark,
our secret sins and misdeeds dark,
O who shall stand before Thee?
To wash away the crimson stain,
grace, grace alone availeth.
Our works, alas, are all in vain;
in much the best life faileth.
No man can glory in Thy sight,
all must alike confess Thy might,
and live alone by mercy.
Therefore my trust is in the Lord,
and not in mine own merit.
On Him my soul shall rest;
His word upholds my fainting spirit.
His promised mercy is my fort,
my comfort, and my sweet support.
I wait for Him with patience.
What though I wait the live-long night
and ‘til the dawn appeareth,
my heart still trusteth in His might;
it doubteth not nor feareth.
Do thus, O ye of Israel’s seed,
ye of the Spirit born indeed,
and wait ‘til God appeareth.
Though great our sins and sore our woes,
His grace much more aboundeth.
His helping love no limit knows;
our utmost need it soundeth.
Our Shepherd good and true is He,
who will at last His people free
from all their sin and sorrow.
We Are Listening
Father, I long to be wise,
Too see with new eyes
The truth that was written by Your hand
Father, speak Your truth into me
Because I still believe
That You will help me understand
And we are listening to Your word
we are listening to Your word
Morning and evening we come
To delight in the words of our God
Give us eyes to see
Give us faith to hear
…that the Word has come
…that the Word is here
Father, I long to see Christ:
The Truth and New Life,
The Word that made the universe
Father, speak now I believe
I have been set free
By the Word that lived and died for me
And we are listening to Your word
we are listening to Your word
Morning and evening we come
To delight in the words of our God
Give us eyes to see
Give us faith to hear
…that the Word has come
…that the Word is here
