Defining Differentiation
Differentiated instruction is an approach to teaching in which
the teacher strives to do whatever is necessary to ensure that
struggling and advanced learners, students of varied
cultural heritages, and children with differing backgrounds
of experiences learn to their greatest potential.
Differentiation is the tool to providing rigorous,
challenging, and coherent curriculum for all students.
