The Task Force commissioned a
comprehensive survey of teacher
education with funding assistance
from the CKLN
The results of the survey presented a
picture of widespread diversity and
differences in policy, practices and
approaches
The differences underscored the need for
established standards of teaching
performance and for standardizing the
various programmes that prepare teachers
across the region.
