Richard Plainfield
•
Richard Plainfield is President, Director Sales & Marketing and CoFounder of TechSpeed Inc. Mr. Plainfield is the former President of
Plainfield Software, which was founded in 1978. With over 30 years of IT
experience including R&D, testing, systems management and hardware
development, Mr Plainfield has been awarded multiple patents for his
innovative designs. Mr. Plainfield leverages his experience to oversee
both the sales and marketing divisions thus ensuring TechSpeed’s
continued customer commitment to quality, reliability and service.
•
Beyond the IT industry, Richard has founded several successful
enterprises including granite imports, Plainfield’s branded tea, rare Indian
art imports and a fine dining restaurant that further enhance a life time of
business successes. Mr. Plainfield attended University of Oregon and
Evergreen State College and currently makes his home with wife and
daughter in Portland, OR.

Vidya Plainfield
•
After several successful years in the Consumer Packaged Goods
industry, Vidya Plainfield joins her family as the Director of Strategy and
Planning for TechSpeed Inc. In this role Ms Plainfield is responsible for
new venture strategy formulation and execution including business
intelligence research and analysis. She also serves as primary liaison
between sales & operations, providing business planning and processes
for strategic initiatives and tools.
•
Prior to joining TechSpeed Inc., Ms Plainfield worked for Gillette and
Campbell Soup Company. Previous roles with these organizations
included supply chain manufacturing & planning, global warehousing &
transportation, network optimization, sales planning, sales strategies and
shopper insights. She has worked for such notable brands as Gillette,
Braun, Oral-b, Rembrandt, Campbell’s Select & Condensed soups,
SpaghettiO’s, V8 Beverages and others.
•
Vidya earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Strategies
from Babson College and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at
Villanova University.
