1. Saint Joseph’s VTC
KHARTOUM 850 students: mostly from the refugee camps around the capital & from a juvenile prison in the area 60 staff 8 different trades
(masonry, auto-mechanics, carpentry, general mechanics, electricity, printing, welding, plumbing)
The VTC was established in the 1940s and was taken over by the Don Bosco Society in 1985

KALAKALA GUBBA Main site & 9 outstations located in a radius of 40 km 5 primary schools with a total of 2000 students Various social and development activities reaching yearly to 30.000 people
(youth programs, trauma counseling, medical labs and dispensaries, women promotion programs)

Life Skills: A holistic training in the following areas: conflict management; peace education; self-esteem building; interpersonal relations; responsible citizenship; entrepreneurship

SOUTH SUDAN ZONE

Improve access to schooling, especially for IDPs, in the town of Wau
2
Enable the start-up of small enterprises in the Wau County by providing employment oriented vocational training to youngsters

Promote agro-based livelihoods in the Wau County through agricultural training and services WAU

Improve access to schooling in the Tonj County

Promote agro based livelihoods in the Tonj County through agricultural training and services.

Improve the status of women in the Tonj County through life skills and livelihoods training

Create a human resource base of entrepreneurial potential that will contribute to the economic development of South Sudan TONJ JUBA
Specific Interventions
KHARTOUM ZONE 1 Improve access to basic health care and educational services for the IDPs living in the squatter areas in the Kalakala locality of Khartoum.
2 Offer high quality job oriented professional training to IDPs in Khartoum by improving the standard at the St. Joseph VTC 3 Facilitate the process of repatriation and resettlement of trained youth (IDPs) from Khartoum to South Sudan.
Specific Interventions
DARFUR ZONE 1 Provide employment oriented vocational training for 500 youngsters annually from Darfur EL OBEYD NYALA AL FASHER
